Making Everyday Curriculum Materials Accessible for All Learners

All students, including those with physical, sensory, and/or learning disabilities, deserve and are legally entitled access to the same curriculum materials at the same time as their non-disabled peers. Educators need to learn how to select and create materials (such as documents, presentations, videos, and digital learning activities) that don’t create barriers for students.

The AEM Center is offering a free five-module online course about providing accessible classroom materials.  The modules include a one-hour video presentation, suggested learning activities, and opportunities to interact with the presenters.

More information and the registration link can be found at the AEM Center website. New learners can join the course at any time; materials from the completed modules remain available on the AEM Center website.
